I have to say, the staff really stand out; they're so helpful and go the extra mile to make your visit enjoyable, whether you're just nipping in for a drink or staying overnight. The rooms are generally comfortable and clean, with some nice surprises like spacious layouts and a cracking breakfast that hits the spot every time. It's brilliantly placed if you're heading to Warner Bros Studios or need a base near London, and the value for money makes it a go-to for a fuss-free escape. On the downside, though, parts of the place feel a tad worn out – we've heard about things like mould in the bathrooms and some shabby furnishings that could use a refresh to keep up with the rest. The food's alright but doesn't quite live up to the hype, more average than exceptional, which might leave you wanting something a bit more memorable.
