About This Pub
Ah, Tuck & Tanner – it's one of those neighbourhood pubs in Nottingham that feels like a proper local haunt, you know? From what I've gathered chatting with folks who've been, the food really steals the show; think hearty pies, juicy burgers, and even some lighter options that hit the spot after a long day. The staff can be an absolute delight, always on hand to sort out your order and make you feel at ease, which adds to that warm, community feel. And let's not forget the beer garden – it's a brilliant spot for a sunny afternoon with friends, sipping on a selection of real ales or cocktails. On the downside, it seems service isn't always on top form; a few have mentioned waiting around or not getting the attention they hoped for, which is a pity because it could put a bit of a dampener on an otherwise lovely visit. All in all, it's worth popping in for the grub and atmosphere, especially if you snag one of their deals, but maybe just go with the flow and keep expectations balanced for a top-notch pub experience.

Jacob was very good with coming to check out order as we had different requests
Food came in good time and was delicious thanks to the chefs Lewis and Ollie
First and last time visiting this place. Starting off with the awful customer service. Stood for about 5 minutes (no que) before we decided to just sit down ourselves because no one was acknowledging us. After this we ordered 2 drinks and we had baby on a high chair. The lady came over and instead of being considerate of the child, she placed the pint glass directly infront of the baby, which he instantly grabbed and it spilt allover him. Instead of apologising she sighed and walked off, did an awful job of cleaning we had to go and clean ourselves?
After assuming she would have corrected the mistake we asked when she would bring over the replacement drink, she laughed and said we aren’t getting one and it’s not our fault and we “should of picked the drink up faster” I’ve never heard such rubbish. If you put a pint glass infront of a baby Ofcourse they are going to touch it.
Food is shocking to, worst £20 I’ve ever wasted😂 the waiters need to learn some customer service skills and know the customers come first. Don’t waste your money
We regularly go for breakfast here and the atmosphere is very chilled and has great music playing in the morning. The breakfast is always cooked nicely thanks to the chef, Ricky and the service Is great, especially Maria at the bar, who was helpful and smiley. Would definitely recommend. They also have a designated kids area for entertainment for families.
Lovely lunch! Maria on the bar is lovely and hospitable. All the food was cooked very nicely by Lewis the chef. Ryan was very pleasant as our waiter and collected our empty plates promptly. Overall good experience. Thank you :)
