About This Pub

Ah, the Trevor Arms – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local in Chorlton-Cum-Hardy, you know? From the moment you step in, you're greeted by this inviting mix of antique charm and pops of green that make it feel homely and welcoming. I've heard from folks that it's brilliant for watching the big games, like the Women's Euros, with an electric crowd that really amps up the excitement, and they've got all the sports channels sorted. The staff are dead helpful too, always ready with a smile and tips on the best deals, which is a nice touch when you're out for a cheeky midweek pint. Plus, with the dog-friendly areas and a lovely beer garden, it's ideal for a relaxed afternoon with friends or even the family. On the flip side, it does get packed during peak times, so you might end up queuing for a drink or struggling to nab a table, and the hours can feel a bit limiting if you're hoping for a proper night out. Overall, though, it's a gem for anyone wanting that authentic pub experience in Manchester – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, but maybe plan around the busier events to make the most of it.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The atmosphere is always buzzing and welcoming, perfect for catching up with mates over a pint.
  • They've got a cracking outdoor space and a beer garden that's great for a sunny afternoon.
  • It's dog-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along for the fun.
  • Loads of sports on show, like Premier League and rugby, with special events that really get everyone involved.
  • Friendly staff who know their stuff – they even tip you off about deals like 2-for-1 on drinks.
  • A solid selection of beers, IPAs, and lagers, plus fun nights like karaoke that make for a memorable evening.
Cons
  • It can get a bit crowded during big events or match days, which might make it tricky to find a seat.
  • The operating hours wrap up fairly early on some days, so it's not ideal for late-night gatherings.
  • While it's got a traditional charm, some might find it a tad old-school if you're after something more modern.
  • Food options aren't highlighted much, so if you're looking for a full meal, you might need to head elsewhere.

Always a great atmosphere at The Trev! Often come here with pals for a few drinks at the week. There’s a really nice little outdoor space and great games corner if you like that kind of thing. Shows the sports. Would recommend!

Best pub on beech road. I was served by a young gent...I think his name was, Theo (?). He was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. He made me aware of the 2 for 1 deal which is available Mon-Thurs 4-7pm. I wouldn't have known otherwise! Great pub, great atmosphere, get to the Trev!

Popped in for a quick drink in a proper pub. Thrilled by the furnishings, layout and memorabilia on view. A lovely time spent in a good old fashioned iconic Manchester boozer. Good selection of beers, ipa'sand lagers. Will visit again when in Beech Road area.

Trevor Arm is a cozy and welcoming pub that has become a favorite whenever my friend visits from Scotland – he absolutely loves this place! I had the pleasure of watching the Euro Cup final here, and it was an unforgettable experience. The crowd was electric, and the atmosphere made the match even more exciting. The pub also offers a great selection of beers, and the peaceful vibe makes it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy good company. Highly recommend this place for a laid-back, fun time!
