Amazing food and such nice staff- Sarah couldn’t have been more helpful! Had a ciabatta with meat for a change as was very fresh, such great value for money also. The baby bowl for £1 is amazing quality!
First time visit and a warm welcome with a good explanation of how it works. Table service from Sarah J was spot on. The food was pretty good too and very reasonably priced...even if you aren't a piglet! Yorkshire puddings were a bit chewy but other than that, a good experience....will come again.
Had a brilliant experience at Toby Carvery today, and I have to give a special shoutout to Jamie, who made our visit extra enjoyable. From the moment we walked in, Jamie greeted us with a warm smile and was incredibly attentive throughout our meal.
They were super friendly, efficient, and had great knowledge of the menu even made a fantastic recommendation on the dessert (the chocolate fudge cake was a winner!). It’s clear Jamie genuinely cares about providing great service, and it really made a difference to our visit.
The food was spot-on as always fresh, hot, and delicious but Jamie’s customer service is what really stood out. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Jamie again!
Only can say lately about take-away not great & did expect better comparing to dining-in, mainly veg & could tell/taste had been sitting for hours - also wouldn't honor app/email offer on collecting as couldn't book before but didn't advise either I could have done it there & then! Will not return in a hurry 😡
We ate on a Friday evening at 7pm we hadn’t booked a table, so didn’t expect to get seated straight away but we only had to wait 5 minutes before a table was available. Food was great chef was very friendly and Sarah who served us was fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful. We wish we had some cash on us so we could give her a tip, as she was that good, she said a review would be great, so we were more than happy to do so.
