Atmosphere was nice looked very pleasant. Service was good friendly and kind. Food on the other hand was utter shit. My partner got a chicken burger and there was practically no chicken inside it just crisp and stale. I had an apparently an award-winning pie. It was not award-winning. It was Mid at best. The veg was rockhard and the mashed potato was like microwave mash. Gravy was good
Super dog friendly, electric car charger.
We had two rescue dogs with us and it was hot so we wanted to be inside. The staff were amazing. One of our dogs is very reactive and staff gave us space. He even calmed right down and lay down.
We had fries and drinks and the service was brilliant. Car charger great too. Really recommend this place!
Good food good service what else could you want.
Nice pub, dog friendly and fairly accessible for most wheelchair users, did us well for meeting friends just before Christmas. Food was decent - I enjoyed my steak sandwich very much but the vegetarian options were a little disappointing for others in the group. I liked the touch of being able to borrow a dog bed and water bowl.
I recently booked a large group Baby Shower here at the Green Man and we opted for the Afternoon Tea. I absolutely couldn’t recommend enough! We had a reserved private event space, all the tables were set out beautifully with fresh flowers, teas and coffee’s. The food was beyond delicious and the amount of food and portion sizes were extremely generous! Teresa and the team couldn’t do enough for us and made sure the day went perfectly. I would absolutely recommend the Afternoon Tea and it was perfect for a large group! Thanks again for having us we all had a brilliant day!
