About This Pub
Ah, the Three Crowns – it's one of those hidden gems you stumble upon after a lovely walk in the Macclesfield countryside, and I have to say, it really hits the spot for a relaxed pint or a bite to eat. The staff are generally spot on, dishing out warm welcomes and keeping things cheerful, especially with that inviting log burner glowing on colder days. It's dead handy being dog friendly and having a beer garden with cracking views; you could spend ages just soaking it all in while enjoying a proper Robinsons ale. They've got a good range of food too, like tasty pizzas that hit the mark after a hike, and it's nice to see it buzzing with community events that bring people together. On the flip side, though, it's a shame about the limited hours – not open until the afternoon on weekdays, and completely shut on Mondays and Tuesdays, which might cramp your plans if you're not around at the right time. Plus, from what I've heard from a few mates, it can sometimes feel a bit cliquey, with the odd funny look if you're not a regular, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea straight away. All in all, if you're up for a genuine village pub experience with its highs and lows, it's well worth a visit – just go with an open mind and you'll likely have a grand time.

Amazing little friendly pub. Warm welcome and dog friendly
Popped in on a dog walk to try out this place as its mentioned as good hikers pub. But we found it had a weird vibe going. Real locals bars and they/the landlady didn't seem to keen to us come in, got some funny looks... didn't feel welcome. Good beer though and a nice view out the back. Shame on the lacking hospitality.
Just the best!
You won't find a better place for your night. Great and interesting people to talk to, lovely staff, if not the best landlady in all the lands.
A nice cozy log burner for the cold months too.
Nothing better than some great pints by a warm fire any day!
A small group of us stopped here after a hike. Great little pub. Nice beer garden. The lady working was very nice! Pizza and chips were delicious.
The best pub I've been to the locals are really nice and you are always welcome
