About This Pub
Ah, The Woodman Inn in Bradford – it's one of those classic spots that really captures the heart of a good community pub. From what I've gathered, the staff are absolute stars; they're warm, accommodating, and always ready to make things right, like when they quickly adapted a quiz for someone who needed it. The drink deals are spot on too – plenty of options at great prices, ideal for kicking back with a pint and catching up with mates over live sports. It's got that lively energy, especially if you're into football or rugby, and the beer garden is just the ticket for a bit of fresh air and conversation on nicer days. But, on the downside, if you're after a bite to eat, it's pretty basic with just crisps on offer, so you might want to plan ahead and grab something substantial elsewhere. I've heard from a few that the new owners have leaned into the rugby scene a bit more, which is great for fans but could make it feel less inclusive for others who pop in regularly. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed night out if you're up for the sports vibe, but it's worth knowing the quirks to keep things balanced.

Coming to this pub for a couple of years, new owners took over recently and the atmosphere has changed from a welcoming friendly pub to a Bradford Bulls fans pub, ostracising the regulars. They offer rugby fans free shots but do not look after the locals who are the bread and butter.
We will be looking to find a new hangout for our Friday evenings.
Not friendly or welcoming anymore.
Best pub in Bradford. Great place to go out. Very friendly staff. Bob and Gayle best landlord and landlady you'll be meet both very welcoming and accomodating. Will always go the extra mile
So impressed with this little pub. Came to the quiz and there was a visually impaired person who was unable to access the picture quiz so the dj immediately changed it to playing the band and asked for the lead singer and band. Such a great response and something to be noted for the future. Would highly recommended this pub for being extremely accommodating and a great atmosphere!
