The Wee Howff in Paisley

Ah, The Wee Howff – what a lovely little pub it is in the heart of Paisley. From what I've gathered, it's got this warm, inviting feel that really draws you in, with staff who are dead chatty and make you feel like part of the gang. The beers are spot on, with a good selection that keeps things interesting, and if you're into watching the footie, the live TV is a real bonus. It's especially popular with the locals and has that charming, old-school character that makes you want to linger. On the flip side, though, it's a pity they don't do any food; you'd have to head out for a proper meal, which isn't ideal if you're settling in for the evening. Plus, there's that nagging sign about leasing the place, which might make you pause and think about its long-term prospects, and the lack of a beer garden means you're stuck indoors even when the weather's grand. All in all, it's a solid choice for a pint and a chat, but it could do with a few tweaks to make it even better – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, as the positives definitely outweigh the niggles.
