About This Pub
Ah, De Beers in Paisley – it's one of those places that just has that warm, inviting feel, you know? From the reviews I've seen, folks absolutely rave about the friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and the beer garden and terrace are brilliant for soaking up some fresh air with a cold one in hand. It's well put together, with decent decor and they even show major sports events, which is ace if you're up for cheering on the team with a crowd. Prices are still reasonable for a pint, though they've nudged up a bit lately, which isn't surprising these days. On the flip side, it's a tad small, so weekends can turn into a bit of a mad house – think elbow-to-elbow situations that might put you off if you're after a quiet pint. Overall, it's a solid choice for a night out, especially if you're local or fancy discovering a hidden gem, but I'd say plan ahead for quieter times to really enjoy it.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in
-
There's a lovely beer garden and terrace that's perfect for enjoying a drink outside on a sunny day
-
The atmosphere is spot on, especially during big events like sports matches, which they show on the screens
-
It's well-decorated with a cosy vibe, and it's become a bit of a hidden gem in Paisley that's popular with locals and students
-
Prices are still pretty decent for what you get, like a pint for around £5, which feels fair in today's world
Cons
-
It can get absolutely packed on weekends, making it a bit of a squeeze and hard to move around
-
The pub is on the smaller side, which adds to the crowd issues and might not suit everyone
-
Prices have crept up over time, just like everywhere else, so it might not be as budget-friendly as it once was

Nice beer garden, staff were very friendly and made you feel very welcome. Will go back
The atmosphere is very good and the terrace for having something to drink outside is great.
I visited this bar on a Saturday night. If you are not local,or if you do not search on Google, it is difficult to realize that is a pub there. It is a kind of hidden gem :))
The staff is very polite and friendly, as are the customers.Prices are more than decent for 2024 (£5 for a pint). You can pay cash or card.
I forgot to mention the fact that there is a lot of noise inside.I personally liked it and I will come back.
Good bar in the centre of Paisley. Well decorated with good decor. Shows major sports events. Popular with students staying in the nearby student accommodation.
Gets silly busy on weekends though as is rather small and prices have gone up massively since I first started going (like everything has unfortunately)
Good selection of beer with mainstays like Tennents, Madri & Peroni but also rotates taps with craft beers currently serving WEST St Mungo & Drygate Disco Forklift Truck.
Beer patio in the back but not great for catching the sun as in shaded area.
Friendly staff and rarely a problem here. Takes card with no minimum purchase. Free Wi-Fi but is unreliable.
Popped in for Christmas drinks during the England Vs France game, the place had a great atmosphere and the staff gave great service. I would definitely revisit.
