About This Pub
Ah, The Weavers – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Aylesbury, right near the town centre and the Waterside Theatre. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food really steals the show; folks are going on about the fresh, tasty dishes and those unbeatable Sunday roasts that leave you wanting more, all without breaking the bank. The atmosphere is spot on too – whether you're soaking up the sun outside or getting cosy indoors on a chilly day, it's got that welcoming feel that makes you want to linger. The team behind the bar are an absolute delight, always up for a chat and making sure everyone feels looked after, which adds a real personal touch. And let's not forget the entertainment; with quiz nights, live music, and even karaoke, it's a brilliant spot for a fun night out. On the flip side, it does get busy during events, so you might end up jostling for space or dealing with a bit of noise if you're hoping for a peaceful evening. Plus, with doors shutting at 11 PM, it's not ideal for those all-nighters. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for a good meal and a laugh with mates – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, as it's got that heartwarming pub charm that's hard to beat.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food here is absolutely spot on – think delicious, freshly prepared meals like those Sunday roasts that everyone raves about, all at a fair price.
-
It's got such a warm and welcoming vibe, whether you're chilling outside in the summer or cosy inside during winter, making it perfect for a relaxed catch-up.
-
The staff are brilliant; they're always friendly and go out of their way to make you feel right at home, like chatting with mates behind the bar.
-
Loads of fun things on offer, from quiz nights and live bands to karaoke and even a pool table, so there's always something to get stuck into.
-
A great range of drinks and big screens for watching the footy, which adds to the lively atmosphere without overwhelming the place.
Cons
-
It can get a bit crowded during events or peak times, so you might have to queue for a table or find it a tad noisy if you're after a quiet pint.
-
With closing at 11 PM most nights, it might not be the spot for late-night gatherings, which could be a shame if you're in the mood for an extended evening.

We started coming to the Weavers some time ago during Summer. The atmosphere outside was great! Winter came and it was warm and cozy inside, we came for lunch one day and we loved the food. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, especially Ruby and Scarlett, they always make us feel welcome. Lovely place
We have been coming here for years and never got disappointed! The place feels welcoming, food is great, especially the Sunday roasts, the staff is really friendly and always makes us laugh. From karaoke, live bands, quiz nights, to crazy shots night, fun is a must! A special thanks to the "Evil Twins", Scarlett and Ruby, for making every drink special, every moment true.

I always like going to this pub because it is an independent pub with great service, lovely food, and a fabulous atmosphere.
We must support these independent pubs to be survive, grow and be successful for our community.
I’ll be visiting this establishment as often as I can for a few jars and some grub.
I hope this review supports their continued success.
Very large well decorated pub with lots of screens, some very large for sport but the real star here is the food. You wouldn't expect a pub close to the town centre to offer such incredible food at a very good price. All courtesy of Chef Rob who takes such pride in his food, all prepared in house. We opted for the Argentinian t bone steaks, cooked to perfection. Breaded whitebait and sticky ribs provided our starter, incredible. Even the coleslaw is made in the kitchen. Cannot recomend enough. The Sunday roasts are supposed to be just as impressive, will be tasting these very soon.
