About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Manor in Aylesbury – it's one of those places that really stands out in a town like this, with its mix of a ground-floor restaurant, cosy cocktail lounge, and that brilliant rooftop bar that gives you panoramic views and a sense of being somewhere special. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, folks absolutely rave about the atmosphere; it's all about that Art Deco charm downstairs and the relaxed, starry vibes up top, perfect for unwinding with mates or celebrating something big. The food is a highlight too – seasonal dishes with a creative twist that leave you wanting more, paired with drinks that are as innovative as they are delicious. Service-wise, it's clear the team puts in the effort; stories of attentive hosts making birthdays or events unforgettable really shine through. But, on the flip side, it's not open seven days a week, which could be a bit of a letdown if you're in the mood for a last-minute visit, and the schedules might need a quick check to avoid any mix-ups. Overall, it's a gem for anyone after a premium experience, though it might feel a tad upscale for casual drop-ins, so it's worth weighing up if you're after that balance of fun and value.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The atmosphere is absolutely spot on – it's got this premium vibe with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views and feels like a little escape from everyday life.
-
The food and drinks are top-notch; think bold, seasonal dishes and expertly crafted cocktails that really hit the spot, especially for events like bottomless brunch.
-
Service is warm and attentive, with staff going above and beyond to make your visit memorable, whether it's for a birthday bash or a casual get-together.
-
It's a versatile spot for all sorts of occasions, from romantic dinners to lively nights with live music and DJ sets that keep things buzzing.
Cons
-
It seems like the place isn't open every day of the week, which might put a damper on spontaneous plans if you're hoping to pop in on a quiet afternoon.
-
The operating hours can be a bit confusing with varying schedules, so you'd want to double-check before heading out to avoid any disappointment.
-
While it's got a luxurious feel, it might not suit everyone if you're after something more low-key or budget-friendly, as it leans towards a premium experience.

Visited The Manor for their bottomless brunch with my sister to celebrate her wedding. Sat on the Rooftop Terrace. The vibe, service, food were excellent as were the choice of drinks as part of the brunch. Highly recommended and very good value for money
Celebrating my 23rd birthday with bottomless brunch. Service by the lovely Farrah was absolutely amazing! She was so attentive and friendly and made sure our afternoon was just brilliant! Food was also absolutely delicious, I would definitely attend again!
What an excellent venue for hosting our party last weekend - A Company Awards night. Ben couldn’t do enough to support us in the run up to the event, and Ollie and the team on the night were amazing. Everything was sorted, nothing was too much trouble, I’ll be looking for an excuse to have another function there as soon as I can! Special thanks to the bar staff for keeping me up to date on the bar tab. Everyone has raved about the place since and the credit absolutely goes to the venue team, thank you!
I visited the new restaurant for the first time and it was an overall amazing experience. The new decor is stunning, it really does make you relax and adds such a nice feel to the place, tying in with the rest of the manor and just makes you feel like you’re no longer in Aylesbury. The food was so delicious. I could not fault a single thing that I had, everything was made perfectly. The staff were absolutely fantastic, they were so welcoming and nothing was too much to ask. I left a very satisfied customer. I cannot wait to go back!
Lovely place. It felt more like a bar / restaurant you would expect to find in London, not in Aylesbury. Nice views on the rooftop of the Chiltern Hills in the distance. Recommend for the atmosphere, friendly service, tasty food and great drink selection.
