About This Pub

Ah, The Weavers – it's one of those cosy pubs that really hits the spot for a relaxed night out or a special occasion. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are absolute gems; they're warm, efficient, and make sure you're looked after without any fuss, which is just what you want when you're out for a pint or celebrating something. It's especially great for events – think weddings or birthday bashes – with a buzzing atmosphere, live music, and even a dance floor to let your hair down. They've got that community feel, and little extras like complimentary sandwiches during gigs add a nice surprise. On the flip side, it's a shame there aren't any fresh reviews lately, so you might be taking a bit of a punt on whether it's still as lively as it sounds. Plus, without a website, it's not the easiest to plan ahead or check out what's on offer. All in all, if you're in Glasgow and fancy a dependable spot for good times with mates, I'd say give it a try – it's got that solid, unpretentious charm that makes for a memorable visit.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
  • It's a brilliant spot for events like parties or weddings, with a great atmosphere that keeps everyone in high spirits.
  • Service is spot on, even when it's busy – you'll rarely wait long for your drinks, and they remember your order quickly.
  • They've got a lively vibe with live bands and a decent-sized dance floor, perfect if you're up for a bit of a boogie.
  • Occasionally, they throw in complimentary treats like sandwiches during events, which is a lovely touch.
Cons
  • There aren't any recent reviews to go on, so it might be worth checking if things have stayed the same since the last ones.
  • No website means it's a bit tricky to look up menus, events, or get in touch beforehand.
  • One person mentioned not trying the food, which makes me wonder if it's not a standout feature – might need to give it a go yourself.
