The Waterside Inn in Loughborough

You know, I recently had a great time at The Waterside Inn, and I have to say it's one of those places that really knows how to make you feel welcome. The staff are spot on – always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly, which adds to that cosy, homely atmosphere. The food's a real highlight too; it's all fresh and properly cooked, with a wide choice of dishes that cater to families and even your four-legged friends, plus options for kids that go down a treat. Sitting by the river is just lovely, especially on a sunny day, and there's plenty of outdoor space if you're up for it. On the downside, though, it's not the cheapest spot in town, so you might want to keep an eye on the bill if you're planning a casual pint or two. And it can get a bit crowded during peak hours, which is understandable given how popular it is, but that just means it's worth giving them a ring to sort out a table in advance. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good meal and a laugh with friends – I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area and fancy a proper pub experience without any fuss.
