About This Pub
Ah, The Villiers Arms – what a delightful spot it is, tucked away on Villiers Road in Watford. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this genuine, traditional feel that makes you want to settle in for the evening, with friendly staff who go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable, no matter who you are. The beer selection is spot on, and even though the food's just limited to crisps, they're a cut above the rest and add a bit of fun to your pint. It's got outdoor seating too, which is brilliant for catching up with mates on a sunny afternoon. On the flip side, it's a shame about the lack of proper grub options – if you're peckish for something more substantial, you might end up heading off elsewhere. And those opening times look a tad muddled, so it'd be wise to confirm before you go. All in all, with a stellar 4.7 rating, it's clear this place does a lot right, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're after a relaxed, community-focused pub experience in the area.

The best pub in Watford. The only food are the many varieties of crisps on offer, but no worries because the beer is top-notch.
Love this pub, super friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere, even to the odd lone female like me. Never once felt uncomfortable here, no matter how loud or quiet the place is. The ham and mustard crisps are excellent too 🤙
Forget the Rifle, walk down the street and have a bev here instead!
