About This Pub
Ah, The Triplekirks in Aberdeen – it's one of those places that really knows how to get the party started, isn't it? From what I've gathered chatting about it, it's got this welcoming energy that's ideal for sinking into a comfy spot with friends, enjoying craft beers or a cheeky cocktail while catching the latest match on their numerous screens. The service stands out as a real highlight; the team seems genuinely eager to make your visit memorable, whether you're there for a boozy brunch or a casual get-together. They've nailed the fun side of things too, with DJ nights and all sorts of events that keep the atmosphere electric. On the flip side, though, it's not all smooth sailing – some folks have mentioned the food can be a mixed bag, with a few dishes feeling a bit underwhelming, like those from frozen or with portions that don't quite satisfy. And let's be honest, the constant barrage of TVs and music might make it tricky if you're after a more relaxed catch-up; it can get quite loud and distracting. Overall, it's a solid choice for a good time in Aberdeen, especially if you're up for the hustle and bustle, but I'd say it's worth going in with an open mind to get the best out of it.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food can be a real treat, especially for events like boozy brunch – I've heard it's spot on with tasty options that hit the spot.
-
Service is generally top-notch; the staff are friendly and chatty, making you feel right at home, as if you're catching up with mates.
-
It's a brilliant spot for watching live sport or enjoying a DJ night, with plenty of screens and great tunes to keep things lively.
-
Drinks are reasonably priced, and they've got craft beers and cocktails that make for a proper good time without breaking the bank.
-
They've got a fun vibe for all sorts of occasions, from hen parties to watching the footy, with special offers that add to the excitement.
Cons
-
Some food items might not live up to expectations, like frozen meals or small portions that leave you wanting more.
-
The atmosphere can get a bit overwhelming with wall-to-wall TVs blasting racing and music at the same time, making it hard to have a proper chat.
-
There are occasional inconsistencies, such as undercooked sides or disappointing experiences with certain dishes, which can put a dampener on things.
-
It might not suit everyone if you're after a quiet pint, as the buzz and noise could feel a tad too much on busier nights.

Food was really nice, service was great! We came to boozy brunch on a Tuesday and it was a really great experience! Would recommend!
Great time playing games with the Geek Retreat guys last night! Ordered a Vegan burger as well which was absolutely Class! (Would also highly recommend the Dirty Dough-Ball dipper) Tasha was also ace when serving us and providing good chat!
Large pub. Food mostly burgers and pizzas and wraps. Food I think was from frozen. Chips were fries and the fish perched on top. Thin batter not much fish inside and the peas were cold and undercooked
Wall to wall TV screens with racing on and volume on and music playing as well.Hard to think with the noise level.
Quite large pub. Lot of younger people in there. £15 for food and a soft drink
Hansik Korean Street Food - A Disappointing Experience
I was eager to try Hansik Korean Street, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying. Despite the quick delivery, the unusually light delivery bags were a red flag.
Upon opening the boxes, I was shocked by the minuscule portion sizes. It seemed like they hadn't prepared enough food to fulfill the number of meals I had ordered. Several items were completely missing, and the portions that were there were barely enough to satisfy a small child.
Spending nearly £100 for such a disappointing meal was extremely frustrating. I would strongly advise others to reconsider ordering from Hansik Korean Street Food, especially if you're expecting average size portions.
Great tunes on a Friday night and reasonably priced drinks! Good service. They had a DJ doing a great job and lots of screens if you fancy watching sports.
