The Three Tuns in Gateshead

You know, I had a great time at The Three Tuns the other week, and it's one of those places that really captures the spirit of a proper pub night out. The atmosphere is just brilliant – it's all about that live music scene, with bands getting the crowd going and everyone chatting away like old mates. The staff are dead lovely, always up for a laugh and making sure you're sorted with your drinks, and the prices are spot on for a casual evening without breaking the bank. It's become a bit of a go-to for music lovers around Gateshead, and you can see why with the positive buzz from folks who've been there. On the flip side, though, the sound can be a proper nuisance sometimes; I've heard a few say it's hard to catch the lyrics over the instruments, which is a shame when you're there for the tunes. And it's a cosy spot, which is charming in its way, but it does mean things can get a bit tight if it's heaving – not ideal if you're after more space to relax. All in all, it's worth a visit if you're up for some live action, just keep those little niggles in mind for a balanced night.
