About This Pub

You know, when you step into The Sun in Blackburn, it's one of those places that just wraps you up in a warm, welcoming hug from the moment you walk through the door. The staff are absolute gems, always up for a chat, and the regulars make it feel like you're catching up with old mates rather than just popping in for a pint. Weekends are buzzing with music and karaoke, which really gets the crowd going and adds to that lively, community spirit – it's brilliant for letting your hair down. Plus, with drinks being reasonably priced, it's an easy spot for a relaxed evening without worrying about the tab. But, let's be honest, it's not all rosy; there have been a few mentions of drug use in the toilets, which is a bit of a downer and might make you think twice about lingering too long. And while most say it's affordable, some have noted the beer isn't quite as cheap as expected. Overall, with a solid rating around 3.9, I'd say it's worth checking out if you're after a proper local haunt, just go in with your eyes open and enjoy the good bits while being mindful of the not-so-great ones.

Good pub. Loads of music at the weekends. Karaoke, And a good crowd.. For me the negative is the drug usage in the toilets. Stop that and it'll be almost perfect. Oh the beer isn't cheap.

This was a beautiful pub to go for a drink at, with the bar illuminated by fancy lights! The pub has a classic style to it that includes frames on the walls, also the staff were friendly. Prices are cheap and I enjoyed a bottle of WKD Iron Brew, sitting comfortably at a clean table!
