About This Pub
Ah, The Stanley NR3 – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a laid-back afternoon or evening out. From what folks are saying, the staff really go the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome, which sets a great tone right from the start. The food is where it shines brightest; I've heard rave reviews about the tacos and pasta dishes, with generous portions and flavours that keep you coming back for more, all without breaking the bank. It's got that cosy, well-decorated atmosphere that makes it feel like a proper local haunt, and being dog-friendly adds a nice touch if you're popping in with your pet. On the flip side, it might not have the most impressive beer range compared to some other spots nearby, so if that's your main draw, you could be a tad disappointed. Still, overall, it's a solid choice for good grub and good times – I'd say give it a go if you're in Norwich and fancy a reliable, feel-good pub experience.

Nice city pub. My first time there. The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. I really enjoyed my meal of sausage pasta. It's dog friendly which is always a bonus. I would happily go back again. Reasonable prices too. Lovely bread and salad . Great deserts. Tiramisu and croissant 🥐 with different fillings and ice-cream. I enjoyed the heritage tomatoes and Charlie's leaves. Today we had mexican food, passion fruit cheesecake, sorbet and banana pudding. Delicious. Waitresses very helpful and friendly.
Wow. Been wanting to try Fuego since they opened as I kept seeing their posts on Instagram. We tried two tacos Saturday afternoon and we're amazed by how tasty they were.
Lovely pub with a huge selection of beer and decorated nicely with amazing food. Highly recommend and we will be back soon. Only issue is parking can be tricky to find but that's because everywhere nearby is permit parking
Wonderful little pub. Great cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and punters. Tacos there fantastic too. Can’t go wrong.
Not the best beer pub in NR3, but the new tacos courtesy of the chefs behind Bodega are absolutely fab. Generous portions and good price! Will be back to try the brunch options too
I've been to The Stanley a lot of times and it's always been great, Last Sunday I went there with some family and tried the tacos from FuegoNorwich, they were the best tacos I've ever had in my life, I had the beef brisket birria tacos and I also had the papas a la diablo which were amazing, 10/10!
