What a great pub. 15 minute walk from the town centre and such a welcoming vibe from the minute you walk in the door. Lots of cask and keg beers to choose from, plenty of space and a comfortable outside seating area. Would highly recommend a visit
A great beer choice and FABULOUS small plates food offering. Fresh and tasty with a more interesting selection than your standard pub grub. Lovely, friendly service too.
Popped in for a late Sunday lunch, and it was different from what I was expecting, but it was a very pleasant surprise. The food was more of a tapas style, so smaller portions and you need to order a couple of dishes, but the quality was excellent. Definitely recommended for anyone who wants something slightly different for a pub lunch. There was also a large range of beers on tap, which is obviously not a bad thing for a pub.
Another amazing pub in Norwich! The atmosphere was amazing, lots of good music, they also have a wonderful selection of drinks for all ages. They have done an amazing collaboration with XO Kitchens. Their food is Asian fusion, with a wide array of flavours and dishes. Today we had: "Aged beef and bone marrow and flatbread with sauce", "Korean Fried Chicken, Asian Mayo with crispy noodles", "Beer Braised Beef, Miso - Sweetcorn Puree with Togara'shi fries", "Lager, Soy and Mackerel Fillet, Katsu Ketchup with Pickled ginger and wakame" All of these were perfectly presentated, with layer on layer of sweet, spicy, or sharp flavours. AMAZING, can't fault it
