About This Pub

You know, I had a great time at The Duke of Wellington the other day, and I reckon it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a relaxed pint with mates. The real ales are the star of the show – they've got an impressive selection that's bang on for anyone who appreciates a good brew, and it's no surprise it's in the CAMRA guide. The staff are proper welcoming, always up for a chat, and the locals add to that community feel, making it feel like a home away from home. Plus, with the outdoor terrace and it being dog-friendly, it's ideal for a sunny afternoon. Prices are spot on too, especially with everything costing more these days. On the flip side, if you're hoping for a full meal, it's mostly snacks on offer, so you might want to grab something else beforehand. And without a website, it's a tad hard to plan ahead. All in all, though, it's a gem of a place – not perfect, but definitely worth a visit for a solid, enjoyable evening out.

It's only about 90% wheelchair accessible, so there might be a few areas that aren't quite as easy to navigate.

So much beer on tap. All the locals were really nice. Amazing outside terrace with plenty of seating in & out. Dog friendly
This pub's become my regular weekend spot, and for good reason. Solid atmosphere, the bar staff are always on it, and the locals are a good bunch. The beer's top-notch, and the prices are surprisingly decent, especially these days. Can't recommend this place enough, it's a proper gem that deserves to be supported!

It has a huge selection of real ales, and 11 alcohol free options, plus several ciders and some gins and wines. This pub reserves 2 tables a day for the use of customers ordering take away.
This pub has a wonderful range of drinks and a friendly atmosphere. If I lived closer, it would quickly become my local.
