We travelled down to see a band we liked who were playing at The Spinning Top in Stockport. What a fantastic venue for live music. Great atmosphere, great stage, friendly staff, great music …..we loved everything about it!
Lovely place with different things happening. They have live bands and guitar circle etc.
I haven't been too often, but I can imagine it's a place where every night of the week offers something different so that it caters for everyone.
The guy behind the bar (I don't know if he was the manager or owner or bar staff) was very nice and friendly and welcoming.
It lost a star from me because I found it quite expensive. We had been in two other pubs first that were a fair bit cheaper than here. However, the prices weren't that OTT, it was just a bit more than suited my pocket at the time, and if there had been a band on that night, I probably wouldn't have even noticed the prices.
I would recommend this place if you are a music lover. It's about time Stockport had a bar like this 😊
Great little pub serving a wide selection of craft beers, real ales and other beverages. Also has a cracking live music scene too. I’ve been a number of times and never disappointed.
