About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about The Seven Stars – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local favourite, you know? From the moment you step in, the staff really make you feel at home; they're so professional and helpful, whether you're there for a casual drink or something more, like a family gathering. The food is spot on too – I've heard loads of praise for their Sunday lunches, with hearty portions of homemade dishes that are tasty and filling, and at prices that won't break the bank. Plus, with an amazing array of cask ales and ciders on tap, it's a beer lover's paradise, and being dog-friendly adds that extra touch of warmth. The different rooms give you options for whatever mood you're in, and the live music events make it a lively spot without being overwhelming. On the flip side, though, their website's a bit of a letdown – it's not working properly, so you might struggle to find details online. And with no clear operating hours available, planning a visit could be a tad frustrating. Still, based on all the glowing feedback, it's well worth checking out if you're in the area, as long as you verify it's open first. Overall, it's a solid choice for a relaxed pint or a meal with mates, balancing that homely charm with a few minor niggles.

Cons
-
The website seems to be having some issues, as it's not loading properly, which might make it tricky to get more info before heading over.
-
There aren't any specific operating hours listed, so you might need to double-check to avoid a wasted trip.
-
The business status shows as closed, which is a bit confusing given the recent rave reviews – it's worth confirming it's open before you go, just to be safe.

The Seven Stars Landlady & Staff were professional & so very helpful at my Mother’s Wake , the food was complimented very much & little Courtyard was very pretty . Thanks all
So lucky to have this gem on our doorstep. It's just a great all round pub. Food is delicious, been a few times now for Sunday lunch and and are always impressed. Great prices, friendly staff. You can't ask for more.
What a brilliant BCA pub and being the largest been to so far.
Its dog friendly, believe all BCA pubs are?
The greatest shock walking into the bar is seeing 15 hand pulls on in bar and 7 in lounge = 22 pumps. None out of action permanently or left for days. It had 2 dark ales on, although had several times before settled on Salopian Port in a Storm as its one if the nicest stouts around brewed in Shrewsbury.
The other shock was seeing how big the cobs were about 5" dia x 2 1/2" tall £4, took us 20 mins to scoff.
Parkings out the long front.
Another pub i wish was closer, and contender for best pub, well done BCA again with 2 great oubs in Stourbridge.
First time visiting for Sunday lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Opted for the pork great portion all homemade and tasty, also opted for the cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets.
Was suitably stuffed I didn’t have room for a dessert but my friend did and it look great, will definitely return.
Fantastic! Proper pub serving an amazing range of cask ales and ciders at reasonable prices. 3 separate rooms offering different atmospheres: Bar, snug and Lounge. Regular live music. Food midweek is fabulous filled baps and either chunky chips or fries. Location is perfect for the Station at Stourbridge Junction (about 150m from the station entrance.) Recommended
