Great atmosphere and service especially from Natalie 😁 We prearranged a running/walking group visit, just saying we could be 15 to 30 people which isn't an easy request! In the end we were about 30 people, The Crabmill were fantastic taking our orders for food before we went for our run and presenting our food when we returned about 80 minutes later, well done all.
We reserved the Raised Function Area for a Wedding Lunch for 15 people. It was excellent! We had access early to decorate the area as we wanted for our celebration and the staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. We set up the tables as we wanted, (traditional horseshoe) used our themed wedding decorations, and the pub’s cosy interior added to the lovely atmosphere. We had a small table laden with flutes and fizz for welcoming guests and there was room to mingle before sitting down.
We decided to offer guests a choice of 3 dishes: Fish and Chips, Classic Burger or Mac N Cheese. The food was excellent, and we all got our food together. And for 15 people, that’s quite something in an already busy pub. The puddings were delicious! Service was excellent and the Team Leader that day went above and beyond. I’m sorry, I can’t remember her name.
Nothing was too much trouble for us and we had a wonderful day. Thank you to everyone that day. Highly recommend for any event or just go for good food!
Four of us went for a meal tonight. Service was very slow even though it wasn't busy. We had starters and mains and everyone was happy with them. But not having silverware for example is a big miss! I ordered a drink which never came too. It's a nice place with good drink and food choices, but let down by poor service unfortunately.
We come here for the pies, which are really good, but this time the pastry was a little bit hard. The pub was quite busy but it took a long time to find someone who would take our money.

We absolutely love coming here and will continue to time and time again! Food and service is top quality. All staff members are friendly, especially Sam, she always gives us a warm welcome and remembers us :) she is a credit to the team! Ignore the negative reviews, have never experienced such nonsense.
