About This Pub
Ah, The Crown Inn – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper British gem, you know? From what I've gathered from folks' chats online, it's got this warm, friendly buzz where the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and the beers are spot on, with a great range of ales that hit the mark every time. I love how it's kept that traditional feel, perfect for sinking into a chat with friends or catching the sports action, and the outdoor area with heaters is a real bonus for when you fancy a bit of fresh air without braving the chill. On the flip side, it'd be remiss not to mention it's a touch more expensive than your average local, which might make you think twice on a tight budget, and the inside can get a bit squished when it's lively, so if you're in a larger group, you might end up spilling out to the garden. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed night out, especially if you're after that authentic pub experience – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, but just keep those little niggles in mind for a balanced pint!
Pros and Cons

-
The atmosphere is just lovely; it's a traditional spot with a cosy vibe, great for chatting with mates or watching the game.
-
There's a brilliant outdoor area with heaters, ideal for enjoying a pint al fresco, especially on those milder evenings.
-
It's got that community feel, like a local hub where everyone knows each other, which really adds to the charm.
Cons
-
It can be a bit on the pricey side compared to other pubs nearby, so you might want to keep an eye on your wallet.
-
The inside space is quite small and cosy, which means it can feel a tad cramped when it's busy – not ideal if you're after more room.
-
There might be some confusion with opening times, as it seems to vary, so it's worth double-checking before heading out.

Great beer, staff are excellent 👍🏻
Great pub. Rather small and cosy inside but great beer garden
A bit like Cheers - where everybody knows your name. Hadn't been here for quite some time and called during the week. A big hello and "haven't seen you in a while". Really warm and friendly staff.
Great little pub, one for traditionalists. A bit more pricey than other pubs in the area, but it does keep the scutters out.
