Lovely food and very nice staff. Great quiet location. The room was nice. However, we had noisy people above us banging around on the floor, which was annoying. All in all, a lovely place to dine and stay.

Absolutely love the Rules Arms. Me, my husband and my brother-in-law, called in late yesterday evening. We couldn't have been made more welcome by Chelsea - perfect mix of friendly and professional. We all loved our food - great steaks! GF really well catered for. Rain, who looked after us, couldn't have made us feel more welcome either - again perfect mix of friendly and professional. What more can I say wonderful staff and food.I would not hesitate to recommend.

Recently ate at the Ryles Arms and the quality of the food was amazing. Was cooked to perfection and having a healthy appetite couldn’t fault the quantity served. Along with the service which was first class too and the location the whole experience was 5 star. Will definitely be returning there again in the very near future. The staff and attention to detail was faultless along with an incredible chef that is cooking high quality food. Also being a cask ale drink I have to say the beer was most enjoyable too. Keep up the good work.

My husband and I had lunch there today to celebrate my 66th birthday. Service and food were amazing. Portions were large. Birthday card on table and a complimentary pudding with candle. Views were fantastic. Staff were lovely, friendly and efficient. Will definitely be eating here again.

We had a lovely lunch on Saturday. The pies are incredible! The food and drinks arrived very quickly. The staff were all great and very professional and accommodating and straight away took us to a booth with space for the pram. These little things help so much when you have a young baby and don’t manage to get out for lunch that often, and it was really appreciated! Beautiful views for outside the pub too. Will definitely be coming back more often.
