The Rusty Bicycle in Oxford

You know, I recently had a wander into The Rusty Bicycle, and it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper gem in Oxford. The food is brilliant – whether you're tucking into a mouthwatering burger that's got that perfect char, a crispy pizza with a great base, or one of their tasty brunches, there's something for everyone, and it's all done really well. I especially appreciate how they've got options for all sorts, from meaty treats to veggie and vegan choices, and at prices that feel just right, like that brunch deal for around 20 quid that left us chuffed. The staff are an absolute delight, always on hand with a smile and quick to sort you out, which makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. The atmosphere is spot on too – it's cosy and inviting, ideal for a casual natter or even popping in with your dog for a pint and some treats. On the downside, a couple of folks have mentioned the portions aren't quite as generous as you'd hope, so if you're really peckish, you might need to order an extra side or two. All things considered, it's a top spot for a laid-back outing, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a go for a balanced mix of good food, friendly service, and a welcoming feel.
