About This Pub

Ah, The Round Bush – it's one of those neighbourhood pubs in Luton that really grows on you once you step inside. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are absolute gems; they're chatty, helpful, and make everyone feel included, whether you're popping in for a quick cocktail or a full meal. The food sounds spot-on too – think generous portions of things like chicken wraps and ham sandwiches that hit the spot without costing a fortune, and it's brilliant that they cater to families and even dogs, so it's not just your typical lads-only haunt. On the flip side, though, it can get a bit muddled when you're trying to order; some folks have mentioned not knowing where to find a menu or waiting ages for their food, which might put you off if you're in a rush. And let's be honest, being in a housing estate means it's more down-to-earth than flashy, so if you're after something swanky, this might not be your first pick. Overall, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening – I'd say give it a go if you're local or just fancy supporting a community spot that's trying its best.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
  • Great value for money on food and drinks – portions are hearty and the prices won't break the bank.
  • It's super family-friendly and even welcomes dogs, so it's ideal for a casual outing with the little ones or your furry mate.
  • The place is spotlessly clean, which is always a relief when you're settling in for a pint or a meal.
Cons
  • There can be a bit of confusion with ordering, like not knowing where to grab a menu or get help from staff.
  • Wait times for food might drag on a tad, as one person mentioned waiting an hour for something simple.
  • It's tucked away in a housing estate, so it doesn't have that polished, city-centre feel – more of a no-frills local spot.

This is a housing estate pub, built alongside a small row of shops - sounds awful, the type of place I would normally avoid BUT it is a very nice pub with good service, very nice Guinness and, I must say it is very, very clean. Well done guys

Well place looked good from the outside and then when I walked it was still a good atmosphere but confused where go grab menu or no staff to really give much information. Eventually I grabbed a menu which it looked like was some reserved table and ordered some food. After an hour a simple Mac and cheese arrived with an apology for the delay but no discount or free drink was given... And food was pretty soggy. Probably good for drinks and chips
