About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Roseycombe – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Binley Woods, Coventry. I've heard from folks who've been there that the food is an absolute winner; think fresh, plentiful dishes that offer brilliant value, whether you're tucking into a midweek lunch deal or a traditional Sunday roast. The staff really stand out too – they're so friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile, which makes the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable. It's family-friendly and even welcomes dogs, so it's perfect if you're popping in with the little ones or your furry friend. The inside has this cosy, stylish vibe after a lovely refurb, with plenty of booths for a quiet chat, and the beer garden is just the ticket on a sunny afternoon, with its seating, pods, and that open feel looking out onto the fields. On the flip side, it can get a bit hectic during peak times, so booking ahead is a smart move, and if the weather turns, you might not get to enjoy the outdoors as much. Overall, it's a solid spot for a good night out or a relaxed lunch – I'd say it's worth a visit if you're after that balance of great grub and a welcoming atmosphere without breaking the bank.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food is absolutely spot on – fresh, delicious, and always great value, with plenty of options like midweek deals and hearty Sunday roasts that leave you feeling satisfied.
-
The staff are an absolute delight; they're friendly, attentive, and really go the extra mile to make your visit special, whether it's for a birthday or just a casual meal.
-
It's a welcoming spot for everyone, including families and dogs, with cosy booths inside and a fantastic beer garden that's perfect for sunny days, complete with seating and a relaxed vibe.
-
The refurbishment has given it a stylish yet homely feel, making it a lovely place to unwind, and the outside space is huge with loads of room for kids to play.
Cons
-
The outdoor areas are brilliant when the weather's good, but on rainy days, you might miss out on that garden charm and have to stick to the indoors, which could feel a bit cozier than expected.
-
It can get quite busy, especially for popular times like weekends or special occasions, so you might need to book ahead or wait a tad longer for your table.
-
While the food and service are generally top-notch, one or two visits might not hit the mark quite as perfectly, as seen in that four-star review, so it's worth keeping expectations realistic.

This place is amazing, have been twice recently for my birthday and with work and both times were great. The staff were fantastic and the facilities are very good. Especially the function room to the side of the garden. The outside space is huge and has loads of seating and area for children to run around. Good amount of parking too.
Great place to come and relax and enjoy a good atmosphere. The staff are a credit to the owners very
helpful, friendly, and they all give a great service.
The food is amazing!!
Fantastic selection of drinks, too! Can't wait for the sunny afternoon's in the beer garden. 😎
Loved this restaurant! Food was delicious and amazing value! Service was brilliant. Although it was too cold for outside this weekend, the beer garden looks fantastic plenty of seating, looking onto a big field, fairy lights were so pretty!
Firstly the staff are amazing, attentive, serve at the table and all super friendly!! They made our night last night what a great team! We have eaten here 3/4 times now, absolutely great service they have built a great team. The food on all occasions was good value and we will continue to return. Excellent for disabled guests and dogs too. The only thing i would recommend them to do is review their white wine list, each time the white wine drinkers have been disappointed, reviewing this would make the new pub perfect, good value wine to match their great service and good vale food.
Had a great first lunch meal at the Roseycoombe today. Lovely refurb inside and out. Service was great and food was fresh, tasted great and didn’t take long to arrive.
Great 2 for £16.95 offer for lunch menu 👍 and my biscoff hot chocolate was a hit! 😋
