The landlady was lovely and came over to chat with us. Nice touch as we have not been here for years.
If your lucky enough to get a table for Sunday lunch you will not be disappointed, Adult Turkey dinner and kids without gravy (as little one likes to dip her food lol)

First time visiting, firstly the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff are nice and genuinely friendly people. We ordered food, which took about 15 mins to be served nice and hot.
We will be coming back for a Sunday roast as they looked amazing.
The food and drinks are well priced, my daughter loved the ice cream.
We've been In the Rope and Anchor a few times as a family and had food. Each time we've really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was brilliant, the service and food was amazing, but most importantly the landlord was so engaging, friendly, and tonight my son and partner came in, and the landlord encouraged my son to play darts with them, he's buzzing and really enjoyed himself!
