About This Pub

You know, when I think about The Registry Walsall, it's one of those pubs that just warms you up straight away – a proper community spot where you can pop in for a quick pint or stay for the full shebang. The staff really stand out; they're chatty and attentive, like Matt and Remy who get mentioned a lot, making sure you're looked after without any fuss. The food's another highlight – we hear great things about the new menu, with dishes that hit the spot every time, and it's all served up in a relaxed setting. If you're into your sports, it's brilliant for catching the big games on those HD screens, and they've got events lined up that keep the energy high, whether it's live music or a bottomless brunch. On the flip side, there was that one review that gave it a low mark, hinting at some issues that might spoil the fun for a few, so it's not flawless. All in all, with such a solid average rating, I'd say it's well worth checking out for a good laugh and some quality time with mates, just keep an eye on the details to make the most of it.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are absolutely brilliant – always friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
  • The food is a real winner; their new menu has some cracking options like loaded garlic bread, and it's all cooked to perfection.
  • It's a top spot for sports lovers, with loads of HD screens showing everything from Premier League footy to Formula 1, creating a buzzing atmosphere.
  • Prices are spot on for a good night out – nothing too pricey, so you can enjoy drinks and grub without worrying about the wallet.
  • They've got a great vibe with things like a beer garden, live music, and regular events, making it perfect for a casual catch-up or a lively evening.
Cons
  • One review mentioned some potential issues, perhaps with security or an unexpected letdown, which is a bit of a downer amidst all the positives.
  • The operating hours seem a tad confusing from the info available, so it might be worth double-checking before heading out to avoid any surprises.

All round the best bar in Walsall, Matt Sanj and remy are brilliant food is top notch and we love the new loaded garlic bread. When we do come out on a night or early evening the DJs are great too

I never write any reviews, and I was thinking for a long time to write this review but I genuinely love coming to this place, I come here every weekend to have a good time and everything is great the drinks are not expensive the people that works here are friendly and really nice even the security guards are brilliant ! Everything is just great The only problem that I have and I genuinely believe that that’s the only reason this place sucks is the DJ ! I mean genuinely that’s the worst DJ I ever ever heard! Most of the time he plays house music and he can clearly see that no one dance to that literally no one ! And when he plays pop music or dance songs everyone is dancing ! So why not just play good dance music ?! So everyone can dance and enjoy themselves ! When he plays a good dance song he lets it play mostly for like a 10/15 seconds then he switches back to house music or techno music whatever u wanna call it, Then he keeps talking into the mic ! When I asked him if he can play some good pop music or dance music he arrogantly reject ! People come here to have a good time to dance and to enjoy themselves but this DJ is the worst ever ! For the love of god plz if anyone can do something about it please have a word with the DJ and tell him to play music that the people want to hear and dance to ! Not the music he Likes ! So many times I wanted to write this review but I just didn’t wanna write a negative review because this place is really great, and trust me u guys if the DJ changes the way he plays and the songs he plays more and more people will come back Cuz music is the reason really people come on Fridays and Saturdays ! Sorry for such a long review and I’m sorry for writing this Thank u

I always stop in Here for a "quick pint" and always enjoy the atmosphere. The new menu is really good. There's a good selection to choose from. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. The food is always cooked to perfection. I always have a chuckle with Remy, jord and Matt. I would recommend this place to anyone

Myself and my partner went in for a drink recently. We wasn't planning on eating but the food that was being brought out looked amazing. It didn't disappoint. The service from Remy and matt was prompt and very friendly. We will definitely eat there again

Perfect for Euros and more. Food great. Staff including Harry, Jordan, Dan and Carl amazing. Always feel welcome anytime. Service brilliant and informed staff and staff not afraid to check with managers/shift leaders if unsure (rare to see staff confident in the support of management. Brilliant). Clean. Well maintained. Euro logo on facebook fantastic. Social media good. Sound and lights good. DJ Daimo fun and approachable. Going to be here more. Thank you all for being amazing. A credit to the industry.
