About This Pub
Ah, The Red Well – it's one of those dependable Wetherspoons spots that you can pop into for a straightforward, no-fuss evening out. The prices are spot on, making it an absolute winner if you're after a cheap pint or a hearty meal that doesn't cost the earth; I mean, you'll be pleasantly surprised at how much you get for your money. The food's generally cooked just right and comes out hot, with a nice range of choices that cater to different tastes, whether it's breakfast or something more substantial. Most of the staff are dead helpful and create a warm feel, but let's be honest, there are times when someone behind the bar might seem a bit off, like they're not in the best mood, which can take the edge off an otherwise good visit. And while the pub's spacious enough for a crowd, the fact that you can't reserve a table means it might turn into a bit of a scramble if it's packed, so planning ahead is key. All in all, it's a solid pick for a casual get-together with friends, as long as you keep expectations realistic and enjoy the reliable Wetherspoons charm.

Staff and service excellent, food cooked to perfection severed nice and hot .
Had 2 draught beers which I enjoyed, overall never had a bad meal at a weatherspoons.
Very reasonable price and food was good will visit again when in the area.
We have been to the redwell about every 6 weeks with friends and it's usually good
But today the young lad Alex k serving behind the bar didn't want to be there, he was nonchalant abrupt no maners ( yes I made a point of being polite as I know how much I dislike it )
Which made it not as usual nice
We will go back as we enjoy meeting up there
But if I see him behind the bar I will await for another member of staff.
The prices are absolutely brilliant, for the amount you get i was shocked at how cheap it was!! The menu is brilliant as well, such a variety and as we went at christmas they had a christmas menu as well. My only complaint is that you cant book a table so it can be somewhat difficult finding one if you go at busy times, and the atmosphere can be quite noisy so bear that in mind if you struggle with lots of noise. The servers went above and beyond as my friend wanted extra veg for her meal and they brought it out to her, and ordering food is super easy. I highly reccommend the cookie dough sandwich its delicious!
First time at this Spoons, its quite a large pub on High Street at the junction with Oxford Street. I went there for an evening meal and also breakfast all very good. Standard spoons quality you would expect from all Spoons.
Would recommend.
