About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Red Gate Inn – it's one of those places that just feels like a proper local haunt, tucked away in Mansfield, where everything comes together nicely for a good night out. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is a real highlight; folks are going on about how amazing the Sunday lunches are and how the portions are so generous that you won't leave hungry. The team there really know how to make you feel welcome, with that friendly service that turns a simple visit into something memorable. Plus, if you're into your sports, they've got all the live action on, paired with a cracking selection of drinks that you don't see just anywhere. But, to keep it real, it's not perfect – the menu might give you a bit of a headache trying to read it, and being a smaller spot, it can get a wee bit crowded on busier evenings. Also, if you're planning a mid-week meal, you'll have to remember the kitchen's shut on Mondays and Tuesdays, so it's best for weekends or when they're firing on all cylinders. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for a relaxed pint or a hearty bite, and I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in the area – just go with an open mind and you'll likely have a great time.

Realy enjoyed my fish and chips. Well worth the value. Can't believe the portions of all the meals served.
Nice place, nice staff, food was good, chips are exceptionally good, overall very good. Only thing that could be improved is the menu is a bit hard to read.
First time here. A family get together before Xmas. Had the festive menu & our Neice & her boyfriend had the festive vegan menu. Lovely food, great service, really nice atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.
We have been a few times and so far definitely never disappointed. everything was perfect. The food is delicious and well presented. The people who work there are all lovely. The place is on the smaller side but that didn't matter. the atmosphere was lovely and calm but wasn't too quiet 😉👌
