About This Pub
Ah, The Railway Inn – it's one of those pubs that really captures that timeless British feel, tucked away in Leamington Spa. I have to say, the staff stand out as the real stars; they're always up for a natter and make the place feel like a second home, which is just what you want on a quiet night out. The old-school atmosphere is spot on too, with games like pool and darts adding to the fun, and they've kept that authentic charm while giving the place a bit of a refresh with new furnishings. The drinks selection is another winner, especially if you're into your real ales – it's a proper treat. But, let's be straight, it's not all roses; there've been a few tales of folks feeling hard done by with the staff, which is a shame and could leave a sour taste. Plus, if you're after more than just a bag of nuts for food, you might find yourself a bit disappointed and needing to venture out. All in all, it's a solid choice for a laid-back pint with mates, as long as you go in with realistic expectations – the good bits definitely outweigh the iffy ones, but it's worth keeping an eye out for those potential pitfalls.

-
It's got that classic old-school pub charm, with a pool table and darts for a bit of fun after a pint.
-
They've got a solid selection of real ale on tap, and the drinks overall are spot on for a relaxed evening.
-
The place has been given a nice spruce-up with clean furnishings, blending the traditional feel with a fresh touch.
Cons
-
There have been some upsetting stories about unfair treatment from the staff, which could put a dampener on things.
-
Food options are pretty limited, mostly just nuts and the like, so you might need to head elsewhere for a proper meal.
-
It seems like the real ale variety could do with expanding, as it's not always as extensive as you'd hope.

This pub is a disgrace my mother in had a fit in there and they bared her for no reason they made out she was drunk when she wasn't I wouldn't spend a penny in this place absolute disgrace
Food on offer were salted peanuts or unsalted cashew nuts. In respect to the bar they had a lot of draft beers, sliders, spirits shots which were very good.
It's an old pub that's had a restricted make over. So now it is clean with new furnishings but the original look and feel of the place remains. Real ale is available on two taps, hopefully more will be available soon.
Real old fashion boozer. Warm welcome from friendly staff and regulars. Has pool table and darts. Smoking area out back.
Top pub, you don't find many pubs with old skool feel and value's. Bar staff are friendly, nice and chat with you and make you feel very welcome. *****
