About This Pub
You know, I had a wander into Kelsey's Live the other evening, and it's got that cosy, unpretentious feel that's quite welcoming for a pint or two after a long day. The staff really stand out in a good way – they're on the ball with keeping an eye on everyone, which gives you that extra peace of mind when you're out. The drinks are spot on too, nicely priced and just what you need for a relaxed catch-up with mates. Plus, they've got entertainment lined up on certain days, so if you time it right, it could turn into a proper night out. On the flip side, though, it can be a bit hit or miss; some evenings it's as quiet as can be, with music that's barely there, and you might end up feeling like you're in an empty room. I've heard a few tales of staff not being the most approachable, like run-ins with bouncers or barmaids that left a sour taste. All in all, it's worth popping in if you're local and fancy a low-key spot, but maybe give it a go on a weekend when things are more lively – just to get the full picture and decide for yourself.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are really attentive and keep a watchful eye on things, which makes you feel safer while you're out enjoying yourself.
-
Drinks are great and come at an inexpensive price, perfect for a casual night out without breaking the bank.
-
There's entertainment available depending on the day, adding a bit of fun and variety to your visit.
Cons
-
It can feel pretty dead at times, with quiet music and not much of a crowd, making it hard to get into the spirit of things.
-
Some staff members, like bouncers or barmaids, have come across as rude or unhelpful in a few instances, which can spoil the evening.
-
The place might not always deliver on the fun factor, especially if you're hoping for a lively atmosphere after other spots have closed.

Pretty dead place. Don't bother coming here if you're looking for anywhere fun to go to. Awful quiet music and nobody around. Only come here if you're desperate to get into somewhere after everywhere else stops accepting entry
Arrogant bouncer would not let me in and wouldn't even tell me why. Would give 0 starts if i could
The security guards and the staff on site were very supportive and we’re watching out for all of our party for the whole night that we were in there and even stopped the pair of male from putting drugs into two of the girls drinks to initiate them so that they could do Stuff to them. But thanks to the bouncers this was very much acted upon as soon as one of our friends made it aware to security what was going on?
Food is not Available! But Drinks are Great! Staff Wonderful and Entertainment is available and depends on Day what Entertainment is available
Bar was empty so decided to play pool with a friend. When my friend went into the smoking area the barmaid who was playing pool on the other table came over to my table and took my friends cue whilst staring me down without saying a word. Didn’t really want confrontation so didn’t really acknowledge her but you can tell hostility like this isn’t seen as a big deal in the establishment. If you want a nice drink and experience go up the parade to the nicer pubs, this pub is grotty and just has odd vibes to be honest.
