Really lovely bar team, the staff were very polite and professional. Big Tony and his comedy side kick Frankie kept us entertained and served while waiting on the rest of our party. Food was better then expected and entertainment a live music spot is on. Will definitely be going back during the summer.

We have stayed here many times before and they are just the nicest people. Room was clean, food was good, enjoyed the pub and the pub quiz. They had live music....overall it was a great stay and we will be back! Shout out to the bar staff who worked tirelessly to get us a cab to London as it seemed impossible (lol I know)....but eventually we got there!! Thanks so much and see you in the next few years!!

Really lovely bar team, can't complain there. Ordered food and waited ages for to arrive and when it did, it wasn't great. As I say the staff were very polite and professional. My main issue is that I take offence to being treated like a mug by the manager (who I've known from other pubs and have always got on with) in front of others. Pretty poor show in my opinion. If you don't want to converse with customers because your shift hasn't started, then don't sit in the bar, or get a job outside of the hospitality industry......there's a clue in the name....Hospitality !!! Won't be going back and wouldn't recommend this place.

Had one of the favourites burger on the menu. It wasn't great. I got the feeling it wasn't fresh. My wife had the steak and it was super chewy. Didn't taste nice. Peppercorn sauce wasn't nice.

Went for Sunday lunch with family. It was very busy but the service was good. Definitely need to prebook for meals on Sundays. You order at the bar, and food is brought to your table. The food was hot and tasty. There are various deals available to include 2 courses, etc. Rooms are available at this hotel but we weren't staying so cannot comment on the rooms
