We hired out the 2nd and 3rd floor for a surpise 50th which went swimmingly, it was a perfect evening in every way, all thanks to Sam who coordinated the party right down to the arranging the Dj, decorations and the food. The venue looked absolutely amazing and we would definitely hold another gathering here again! Thanks Jo :) A⭐️

I went to view this venue in Nov 2024 with the view to have a birthday party there in August 2025. I met with Sam (the owner) and Robbie. When I went to view, there was an event on the middle floor and so I was not able to view it properly. I was advised that I could have the top 2 floors for £500 but under no circumstances was I able to have the whole venue as my event was on a Saturday and they would not be able to close on a Saturday as they would lost their regulars. I paid a deposit of £250 to secure the date in August. In December, a member of family went to the bar on a Saturday and was able to use the toilets that were located on the middle floor while a private event was happening. This family member also witnessed the open use of Class A drugs in the toilets. Following this, I raised my concerns that I was not informed that the public would be able to use the toilets in the privately hired area. I also shared my concerns about the use of Class A drugs on their premises and that I did not want that around my friends and family. I gave plenty of notice - my event was over 7 months away at this point and they have refused to return my deposit. Very very poor form. I will be pursuing this through smalls claims court (which is a surprisingly very simple process!)

good music but i felt cold therefore i wont be having ice in my drink for a long time. deserano & coke for £4.60 is the cheapest out of everywhere ive been.

i booked this for a surprise hen-do the only positive thing was the guests and the bar lady (i didn't get her name) it was extremely hot on the middle floor so i asked if we can have the air con on they said there was a fault with it (we was never told this) there was definitely not a fault with it, it just looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 5 years and was duck taped together. I initially booked the top floor for the terrace but I got a call on Thursday saying due the wind I should take the middle floor and a smaller party can have the top floor. When I arrived that top party were on the terrace and the winds were fine. It took 4 times of asking to turn the lights off and to turn our speakers on. There was 1 time where there was no one behind our bar for a good 20 minutes so I went to the downstairs bar to ask where our bar lady was and it happened to be the owner I spoke to. she was nothing but rude, sarcastic and unpleasant I very nicely said “hi there is no one at our bar i don't know if shes on a break but can we have someone” she said very bluntly “there is someone” i said “no there isnt” she then said “and im telling you there is” and proceeded to show me her phone which had messages on and she said “there sorting out your spotify” and I said “that says terrace we are the middle floor and just connecting to the DJ” she then rolled her eyes and said “well there is someone there” the toilets was atrocious some of them the toilet seats were on backwards, they were blocked, filthy, the flush didn't work none of the toilet holders were filled just toilet paper sitting on ghe sanitary bins. There was electrical wires just hanging from the stairs and ceilings. The whole night we used paper plates to fan ourselves with. not worth £350 at all it was awful.When we asked for the music to be connected to our speakers and the lights to be dimmed we got told “if you want more of an atmosphere you can go down stairs” when i said “if thats the case i would like some of my money back for hiring a floor” the owner when the bartender went to discuss this with her didnt even come speak to me just told the bartender to tell us that shes not going to do anything”

The staff were lovely. Food OK. Cleanliness of the toilets could be better, full of dust on skirting and floors dirty. Seat hanging off one toilet and others were missing. Went for a private function
