About This Pub
Ah, The Queen Inn in West Bromwich is just the ticket for a laid-back meal with friends – it's got that warm, community feel that's hard to beat. From what folks are saying, the staff really shine; they're bubbly and go the extra mile, making sure everything's just right, whether it's checking for allergies or serving up a smile with your meal. The food's a highlight too – think generous portions on most dishes, like their mouth-watering breakfasts and those new lunch specials that offer great bang for your buck. It's clear they put effort into supporting local vibes, which adds a nice touch. But, fair's fair, there are a couple of downsides; one or two have mentioned the steak coming up a bit skimpy, which could leave you wanting more after a big build-up. Still, with such positive vibes overall, I'd say it's worth popping in for a pint and a plate – just maybe double-check the menu if you're after something substantial.

Katie was our server and was absolutely fantastic all through our visit. She is an extremely friendly, bubbly lady who clearly enjoys her work and it shows. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she is a credit to the company.
Claire checked us in and escorted us to our table. She was so welcoming and very charming. A warm and cheery personality and promptly sorted out a minor issue we had without any fuss at all. A credit to the company.
The food was of an excellent quality, the chefs Pow, Jon and Matt deserve credit for the quality of the food and there was no delay from ordering to table.
Well done to all of you and thank you for excellent service and customer interaction. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fantastic service and great food.
A walk in lunch and made to feel very welcome.
Drinks and our lunch food was really tasty.
Katie who served us was so helpful and made our experience a really positive one ..
First time I have visited this place with my wife after seeing this premier inn hotel with restaurant being built and of course passing it twice everyday. First class meals and would definitely come back again. Update I tried their breakfast on Friday 14th march £10.99 for unlimited eat as much as you like from English brekkie including cereals, juice, tea or coffee etc also unlimited. A must for the hungryest of people.
service and staff very good. chefs and food taste very very good. the whole atmosphere very well maintained and clean. pleasant company and customer atmosphere.
Everything really very good.
BUT!
why do I have to search for my steak meat with tweezers? why are the 2 pieces, supposedly steaks, so small and so extremely thin like salami slices? when this is declared as "steak" on the menu?
It deserves to be called "steak imitations".
if the Jorcksher Buddin wasn't on the plate, the plate would also be too small for a small child.
It's shameful that with such good employees, such good chefs, the manager maneuvers the entire quality into the trash heap by forcing the chefs to make these small portions.
The proportions are so small that I can speak of deliberate customer manipulation.
That's why I'm going to drive to another restaurant with my wife to actually eat without getting up from the table hungry.

Went to celebrate my parent's anniversary, the staff were really kind and courteous. Made sure to check for allergies and gave us the necessary binder. Food was also amazingly portioned, aka big sizes. Also priced pretty well, had a steak and it was cooked to my perfection , a medium rare and the perfect crimson colour for me.
Drinks were great, toilets were nice and clean. Overall atmosphere was amazing. Bit of a long wait for food despite an early evening dinner of 5pm and emptier service that soon picked up at around 7pm. Nevertheless the service and food was worth it. Also appreciate the free parking available, when there's space.
