About This Pub
Ah, The Quarrymans Arms – it's one of those gems tucked away in the Wiltshire countryside that just hits the spot for a good old pub experience. I have to say, the staff really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, and the food is just brilliant, with classic dishes made from the freshest local produce that leave you wanting more. Whether you're popping in for a brunch, lunch, or that legendary Sunday roast, it's all done with a real homely touch. The views over the Bybrook Valley are simply stunning, especially from the beer garden on a sunny day, and it's fantastic for families or if you've got a dog in tow – they'll make you feel right at ease. On the flip side, getting there involves navigating a steep hill and narrow roads, which might not be everyone's cup of tea, and if you're new to the area, you could sense that it's a bit of a local haunt, making it feel less inclusive at times. All in all, though, it's a cracking spot for unwinding, and I'd recommend giving it a go if you're in the mood for some genuine pub charm with a side of scenic beauty.

My 3 night stay was excellent. All the staff are friendly and helpful. In my case with 2 dogs we were able to come and go without going thru the public area. The food was also excellent. I really enjoyed my visit and would love to stay again if they will have me.
Lovely location but up the top of a steep hill with narrow lanes. The locals already there made me feel a bit conspicuous but I had asked for a quiet table so I didn't have to listen to the chat and telly. There was a varied menu plus specials at reasonable prices and the waitress was lovely. Food was very good.
Parking was a bit of a problem. There was no obvious disabled parking and a bit haphazard. Busy times such as Saturday night and Sunday lunch could be a problem.
Enjoyed my visit and would go again.
We are hosting a guest yellow lab. who is a little overweight so we thought, as it’s Bank Holiday Monday, we would walk over to our favourite pub for lunch with the two dogs. It was a fine blustery day and the hours walk gave us a good appetite.
I had booked a table and we were warmly welcomed as were the two dogs, in fact I think they got their water before we got our drinks. The lunch was delicious and there were plenty of choices. The staff are very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We shall certainly return soon to enjoy the food and excellent service.
The dogs were equally as happy as biscuits were provided for them too.
Stopped off here on a friends recommendation. Did not disappoint either. Food was lush. Staff were lovely, helpful and warming. I had the good old fish and chips , lush lush lush. If all that wasn’t enough, what a stunning view. Definitely recommend….
Stopped here during the Easter holidays while we were out on a family trip. Had a fantastic experience. Particular shout out to Ioan for his food recommendations, loved the pie of the week.
