About This Pub

So, picture this: you're popping into The Prince Arthur for a pint, and right away, you're struck by how affordable everything is – it's just brilliant for keeping things light on the wallet. The staff and the crowd are dead welcoming, with that proper local banter that makes you feel like you've been a regular for years, and they've got regular entertainment to keep the night lively. Plus, if you're in for more than just a drink, the accommodation upstairs is clean and spot on for a comfortable stay. On the downside, it does have that classic old-fashioned pub feel, which is lovely if you fancy a cosy, traditional spot, but it might not thrill everyone, especially if you're after something a bit more contemporary or buzzing. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed catch-up over a cheap drink, and I'd say it's worth a visit if you're in Liverpool and fancy a genuine, unpretentious vibe.

  • They offer handy accommodation upstairs that's clean and perfect if you're after a full pub experience with a place to stay.
Cons

  • With no online presence or website, it's a bit of a hidden gem that you might miss if you're not already in the know.
  • The entertainment and buzz rely on the regulars, so it could feel quiet or less lively on off nights.

It's really old fashioned pub. Decent price for a drink. Centre bar has all around bar heating pipes by your feet. A feature that survived from days gone and there is not many pubs that were spared hammers of tasteless renovators. 😁😉

You just cant beat the prices in here. We have a few drinks in here every christmas day. £2 a pint and not much more for a double spirit. Its an old mans type of pub but quite cozy
