About This Pub

Ah, The Pride of Spitalfields – what a lovely little find in the midst of London! I've got to say, it's one of those pubs that just nails the basics with real charm; you walk in and instantly feel that welcoming, old-fashioned atmosphere that's so hard to come by these days. The beers are spot on – think perfectly poured pints that go down a treat, and at prices that won't break the bank, which is always a bonus when you're out for a casual catch-up. Plus, the events like the Monday music nights or the Tuesday piano sing-songs add a bit of extra buzz, making it feel alive and community-oriented without being overwhelming. On the flip side, though, it does get quite busy, especially as the day goes on, so you might end up standing or hunting for a spot if you arrive late – and with no website to plan ahead, it's all a bit of a surprise. Still, if you're after an authentic, affordable spot to enjoy a drink and some good company, it's well worth a visit; just pop in early and you'll have a whale of a time!

Cons
-

It can get pretty packed later in the afternoon or evening, so you might struggle to find a seat if you're not there early.

With no website listed, it's a bit tricky to check details or the menu online before heading over.

As a smaller spot, it might feel a tad cramped on busier days, which could make it less ideal if you're after more space to spread out.

Classic London 'boozer' with loads of character. Locals and regulars in there.
London Pride on tap. Pub carpet - old school style !
A proper gem of a pub, this place nails the basics with style. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with just the right blend of charm and character. What really sets it apart though are the pints. Perfectly poured, ice cold and consistently top quality. Whether you are after a crisp lager, a smooth stout or a hoppy craft ale, there is something here to satisfy every taste. Staff are friendly, service is quick and the locals add to the laid back vibe. Ideal for a casual pint or a long session. Easily one of the best spots around. Cheers!

Fantastic pub. Was a ‘regular’ during my few nights in the Smoke recently. Proper music night on Monday. Tuesday night piano sing-song is brilliant.
Good prices, a real mix of clientele, and friendly locals—what’s not to like? I’ll be making the trip again just to go back.
I would give one star - just to keep it a hidden gem :)
"Our pub" in London was great. It had a wonderful 'old-fashioned' atmosphere. The place gets full later in the afternoon, so it's good to be early if you want a seat. However, on a warm day, most customers are outside, so you'll probably find a seat. The beer is cheap, no wonder it's so popular!
Great place, small and cosy, lots of locals, pint of ESB for £5.5, what’s not to like?
