About This Pub
Ah, The Plum Pudding – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Oxfordshire. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the team there really know how to make you feel welcome, with friendly faces and that warm, relaxed vibe that's ideal for sinking a pint or two with friends. The food stands out as a winner; folks rave about the Sunday roasts and those hearty burgers, all made with fresh local ingredients, including their own house beer that's brewed right in the village. Plus, the garden's a treat, especially with its cover for those unpredictable British weather days, and they've got cracking events like beer festivals that bring live music and a lively crowd. On the flip side, it's not all perfect – I've heard a few mentions of the food not always hitting the mark, which is a shame when the rest is so good, and parking can be a right pain on busier nights. Still, with such high ratings and positive feedback, it's clear this place does a lot right, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're after a solid pub experience without the city hustle. Give it a go, and you might just find your new favourite spot for a cheeky midweek meal or a weekend wind-down.

Cons

The food isn't always spot-on; one visit might leave you wanting more, as it didn't quite live up to expectations for some.

-
Operating hours aren't clearly listed, which could make planning a trip a tad tricky if you're not sure when they're open.

We have just moved to Milton and what a result having the Plum Pudding pub 5 minute walk from the new house! Great people who run and work there. Very welcoming. Lovely food, fantastic sunny garden, great service and a very nice quiet location. Highly recommend 👌 👍🍻
Fantastic impromptu visit to the Plum Pudding for dinner.
I had the belly pork which was great, and my wife the charcuterie board with some changes.
Nice varied menu, good range of local beers and ales and friendly staff.
A small bar area opens up to a larger restaurant around the back making this place bigger than it looks from the outside.
Parking is quite limited outside the pub but you could leave your car on the adjacent road fairly easily.
We had dinner there last Satuday evening for my sisters 50th Birthday. Was so much fun, really great, local pub, fantastic atmosphere, that we could walk to. I had the burger which frankly was incredible - enormous and utterly delicious, thank you. Will definitely be back again soon.
We had our end of season Colts Rugby Awards here on Saturday evening. The plum pudding could not have been more helpful. The food was amazing, the atmosphere perfect and the locals welcomed us with open arms!
The manager went out of his way to make sure we all had a perfect night.
Highly recommend.
Great atmosphere and delightful staff who made sure everyone was looked after. Food left a lot to be desired, but our big group had a great time thanks to everything else being perfect. It was busy on a Wednesday evening so had to park down on the main road, which wasn't ideal.
