About This Pub

Ah, The Pint Pot – it's one of those pubs that just warms your cockles the moment you step inside. From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this fantastic selection of beers that folks are raving about, like that craft stout one chap mentioned, which sounds like a must-try. The staff really know their stuff and are up for a chat, making it feel like you're catching up with mates rather than just grabbing a drink. That welcoming vibe, complete with live music and a lively atmosphere on busier nights, makes it a cracking spot for sinking a few pints and enjoying the craic. On the flip side, though, it's not without its quirks – weekends can be absolute mayhem, with queues and no seats in sight, so you might want to plan ahead or pop in midweek for a more relaxed time. And since it's not splashed all over the internet, it could take a bit of effort to find, but once you do, I reckon it's well worth it for those proper pub experiences. All in all, if you're in Rochdale and fancy a pint in a place that's got heart, give The Pint Pot a go – just keep an eye on those opening days!

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The beer selection is absolutely spot on, with a great range of craft ales and stouts that really hit the mark.
  • The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready for a bit of banter and making you feel right at home.
  • It's got a warm, welcoming atmosphere with interesting decor and cracking tunes that make for a proper enjoyable visit.
  • Live music adds to the fun, especially on busy nights, turning it into a lively spot for a good night out.
Cons
  • It can get super busy on Fridays and Saturdays, so you might struggle to find a seat and end up standing.
  • The place isn't well advertised, which means it could be a bit tricky to discover if you're not already in the know.
  • With only five days a week open, it's not always available for a spontaneous pint, which is a shame.
  • Early afternoons might feel a tad quiet, so if you're after a buzzing vibe, timing your visit could be key.

This place looked great, we went in early afternoon, so it was very quiet but looks like a great place to have a drink. My partner bought a craft Stout and loved it. We will definitely be back again to have a see what else they have to offer.

An excellent venue to pop into when passing to sink a quality ale or three, have excellent banter and experience a warm welcome from Charlie. Highly recommended but don't take my seat at the bar 😇

Another great little Rochdale boozer. Always a good selection of beer on, with three to four hand pumps that are changed regularly. Great atmosphere and don't expect to get a seat on a Friday or Saturday night as it's always packed and lively!
