About This Pub
Ah, The Lucky Duck Beer Emporium – it's one of those hidden gems in Rochdale that really hits the spot if you're after a proper pint in a relaxed setting. From the reviews I've seen, folks are raving about the friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and the beer selection is just brilliant, with everything from quality hand pulls and kegs to Thatchers on draught, plus those handy CAMRA discounts that keep things affordable. It's got that quirky charm without being overwhelming, and it's nice and quiet enough for a good natter, which is a rarity these days. Upstairs, the free pool table is a lovely bonus for a bit of light-hearted fun. On the flip side, it's a tad frustrating that there are no operating hours listed, so you might end up turning up at the wrong time, and without a website or much online presence, it feels a bit off the beaten track – you could miss out if you're not local. All things considered, it's a solid choice for a laid-back evening; just pop in if you're nearby and give it a go – I reckon you'll come away smiling.

Really nice bar and very friendly staff.
Great afternoon at this quirky but friendly bar. CAMRA discounts and a couple of quality hand pulls from Rossendale brewery today. Pool table upstairs but today all the atmosphere was downstairs with the owner and patrons. Many different kegs available and Thatchers draught. Really enjoyed our time there and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates draught beer and anything other than the mainstream large chains.
Popped in here just before new year, great little spot with decent beer.
Fab quirky little bar, free snooker table to play, great drinks selection, not noisy, staff very friendly
Brilliant selection of beers. Really friendly and helpful bar staff. Nice room upstairs with a free pool table.
