About This Pub
Ah, The Park View – it's one of those pubs that really pulls you in with its warm, welcoming feel, especially if you're up for catching a game or enjoying some live tunes on the weekend. I love how it's bang in the heart of Burnley, just across from the football ground, making it a go-to for fans before and after matches; the big screens and sports coverage are spot on, and it's got that real community spirit with family-friendly vibes and plenty of space inside and out for a proper gathering. The staff seem genuinely helpful, going the extra mile for events like fundraisers, which is brilliant to see – it's clear they've hosted some memorable dos there. On the flip side, though, there was that awkward business with the manager not handling a performer's payment properly, which left a bad taste and shows they might not always get things right under pressure. Overall, with a solid 4.2 rating from the crowd, it's mostly a winner, but those recent dips suggest it could do with tightening up a bit to keep the good times rolling consistently. If you're popping in, I'd say give it a go for the atmosphere and events, but keep an eye out for any off days – it's all about that balanced pint, isn't it?
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The atmosphere is absolutely buzzing, especially if you're a footie fan – it's right opposite Turf Moor, with massive HD screens showing Sky and BT Sports, making it a top spot for match days.
-
It's super family-friendly and welcoming, with live music, karaoke nights, and even space for events like birthdays or fundraisers; the staff really pull out all the stops to make everything run smoothly.
-
Plenty of room both inside and out, including a huge beer garden and outdoor seating, perfect for a sunny pint or hosting a get-together.
-
They've got a great community vibe, with regular entertainment and offers, and it's dog-friendly too, which is always a bonus for us dog lovers.
Cons
-
There was that unfortunate incident with the manager being a bit unprofessional, like not paying a singer after a performance – sounds like it soured things for some folks.
-
Recent feedback has been a tad mixed, with the average rating dipping a bit, so it might not be hitting the high notes as consistently as before.
-
While it's generally spot on, a few mentions of potential inconsistencies in service could leave you wanting a smoother experience now and then.

Went there today and they had a singer on who was very good, the manager asked her to leave after the first half and refused to pay her because she apparently didn't bring disco lights. Absolutely disgusting and extremely unprofessional. Up until then everything was great, bar service excellent, venue is lovely, but this put me off ever using it for a venue of any sort. The poor young singer had a baby to support, Absolutely no justification in this at all.
My first visit, amazing atmosphere live music by Everhart
Went to watch the euros final here, such a shame that England lost.
Situated across the road from the iconic turf Moore it's your one stop shop for football fans and none fans alike. It has the perfect mix between football and being a regular drinking spot.
I am definitely going to be coming there for the away games when I'm not using my season ticket at Burnley and I'll be going there for my pre match pint because of their amazing prices!
Couldn't be happier with this place
We held a fundraising event last night for our dance school. I was one of the team helping and supporting.
The Park View was the perfect venue with an amazing atmosphere. The staff were top notch and on it with everything.
Tony went above and beyond to help support our fundraising event with posting on facebook and offering to support our club further by having our collections tubs at the bar after they have finished with their current ones.
I know our dance school is greatful for letting us run our event on the premises and for Simone who lent her equipment to our singer.
Definitely would recommend this pub.
I am personally looking to come back and try out the quiz or maybe a cheeky sing song on the karaoke 🎤
Booked the Park View to have an 80s family fundraiser for Basically Cheer CIC to help raise funds for our expansion. From day 1 Tony couldn’t do enough to make sure everything was in order ahead of the evening, actively promoting on socials & helping spread the word. On the night the team couldn’t do enough to accommodate us & help get everything set up, everyone was so helpful & friendly. Simone also let us use her singing equipment to provide entertainment. It was an amazing evening with a fantastic turn-out. Thankyou to the Park View & we look forward to arranging many more party nights with you!
