About This Pub
Ah, The Needle & Pin – what a little hidden gem in Loughborough! From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, it's got this charming, old-school feel that just draws you in, with a brilliant range of real ales and ciders that cater to those who appreciate something a bit more authentic than the generic pub fare. The staff are absolute stars, always ready with a smile and some top-notch recommendations, making every visit feel like catching up with mates. It's got these quirky features, like spinning vinyl upstairs, that add a lovely touch of nostalgia and make it stand out from the crowd. On the flip side, though, it can sometimes get a wee bit noisy with families around, which might not suit everyone if you're in the mood for a peaceful evening. Overall, it's well worth a stop if you're exploring the area – just pop in when it's quiet for the best of it, and you'll likely leave with a smile.

Quaint little pub but with a good selection of real ale and ciders. Well worth a visit if you don't want like generic corporate pubs.
Top level craft bar. Interesting and varied selection. Far in advance of many on untapped. Great welcome too. Highly recommended
I love this tiny little pub. Great range and helpful knowledgeable staff. If I must be a party pooper then it would only to say that announced visit there were too many loud children upstairs. I'm old school and while I love that this is a accessible venue for me a pub is not a place to entertain children....
I could write a novel about this place. But to sum it up; it is the best pub I’ve ever visited. If you’re ever in Loughborough and want a great beer with some great company, go there.
Thanks for making my stay in Loughborough amazing!
A unique pub. Upstairs is a 1960's record player where, after buying your beer, you can select and play your favourite vinyl L.P. tracks. Great range of beers, recommended as part of a small pub tour in Loughborough.
