About This Pub
Ah, The Mardyke – it's one of those pubs that just sticks in your mind after a visit, isn't it? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff really go the extra mile to make you feel at home, like that bartender Lottie who had folks raving about their chats and top-notch service. The atmosphere is brilliant, especially if you're into that pre-match mingle or just a casual evening out; it's all about that community feel where everyone gets along. Plus, the drinks selection is spot on – plenty of beers and ciders without breaking the bank, which is always a win in my book. On the flip side, it's a shame there's no website to quickly look up the latest info, so you might end up playing it by ear or giving them a call. And, let's be honest, it can get a tad crowded at times, which might not suit if you're after a quiet corner. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone wanting a genuine pub experience in Bristol – the good far outweighs the minor niggles, and I'd say it's well worth popping in for a proper chinwag.

My friend and I got served my a lovely bartender called Lottie. We had a great chat and throughly enjoyed the place. Would definitely go again!
Great pub. Went in both before and after the match. Before the game, both sets of fans mingled in a great atmosphere. After the game it was mostly City fans, and they were still as friendly. Absolutely loved the placed.
Great boozer, a place for beer drinkers to have a drink. Makes 'spoons' look posh and over priced

What a gem of a pub with a welcoming atmosphere. A great selection of beers and ciders with the usual Outcome and Guinness.
