About This Pub

Oh, what a treat The Lord Northbrook is – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper community hub in Lee, with its recent refurb giving it a fresh, stylish edge while keeping that classic Victorian charm. I've heard from folks that the atmosphere is spot on, all warm and relaxing, especially with that stunning backyard that's perfect for soaking up the sun with a cold one in hand. The food really steals the show too; think hearty pub favourites crafted from fresh, seasonal bits that leave you satisfied every time, and it's brilliant how they adapt dishes to suit different needs – makes it feel thoughtful and inclusive. Staff are an absolute delight, always on hand with a smile and quick service, which adds to the homely feel. On the flip side, it does get busy, particularly on weekends, so you might find yourself jostling for space or waiting a bit, and the moderate prices could add up if you're not planning ahead. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good night out, whether you're after a family-friendly spot or just a place to unwind with mates – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, as it's got that genuine pub spirit that's hard to beat.

Child and dog friendly pub with amazing food and relaxed atmosphere. I love that they provide nutritional information for their dishes on the web's menu, a very nice touch. I got the pan fried salmon with sweet potato fries (both great). I also tried the fish and chips which was very crispy and not oily. The mulled apple tarte was good but not excellent (I thought it would be similar to a tarte tatin but it wasn't). Our server Georgina was fantastic and such a wonderful human being. I definitely recommend this place!

We had a lovely meal at The Lord Northbrook. Each plate was presented with great care and attention, and they were able to adapt dishes to our needs (e.g. my son was able to order a completely plain burger and chips). It was easy to book via the website and staff were lovely. Edit in Feb 2025 - we have visited the Lord Northbrook for a few special occasions now and every single time we have been so impressed with the care and attention given by the staff members we encountered, from booking through to paying. The food is also consistently delicious. 100% recommended, what a fantastic place.
