Very hit and miss with food in this pub. Sometimes it will be perfect other times you may not want to eat it or items will be missing
Mostly brilliant, food can be overcooked sometimes though, I definitely had twice fried chips with my all day breakfast the other day. Rock hard eggs and bacon.....did mention this to staff so hopefully no repeat. We will see.......
Visited the Wetherspoons in Oadby on a Thursday evening and had a great experience. It had a good level of buzz without being too busy. The weather was nice and with all the big doors open, it gave the place a light and open feel. There were a few large groups in, but everyone kept to their own spaces and the atmosphere stayed relaxed and friendly.
Drinks were cheap, with loads of offers available, and service was fast. There's a surprisingly good selection of wines, cocktails, and spirits for such a casual spot.
Definitely recommend if you're after something quick, local, and affordable. It’s a great spot to meet friends for casual drinks in a laid-back setting.
Came across this pub while having our car repaired so had to pass some time. Very busy place but now we know why. It's probably the best value pub we have ever been too. Very cheap and food not bad at all. Selected drinks are also very very cheap! Highly recommended .
Great 'spoons, nice food. I had the veggie lasagna for a change, it was very nice and surprised me (I'm not a vegetarian). Lovely friendly staff. Comfortable building as seen in the photos attached. Great place to visit
