About This Pub
Ah, The Longfellow Bar – it's one of those places that just warms you up from the moment you step in. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are absolute stars, always up for a laugh and making sure everyone feels welcome, whether you're popping in for a quick pint or staying for the quiz. It's got that genuine community feel, where you can relax with a book, play some pool, or catch live music like the Chris Taplin band – sounds like there's always something buzzing on. The prices are spot on too, and folks rave about the Guinness, saying it's the best they've had in ages. On the downside, their website's a right mess at the moment, so you might struggle to get the lowdown online before heading over, and it does come across as very neighbourhood-focused, which could feel a tad exclusive if you're not a regular. Still, with a solid 4.7 rating from heaps of happy visitors, it's well worth a visit for a proper, down-to-earth night out in Belfast – I'd say give it a go and see for yourself!

Drinks are affordably priced, and that pint of Guinness comes highly recommended – it's spot on!
-
A great spot for a casual family outing or a quick stop with mates, with a warm welcome for everyone
Cons
-
Their online presence is a bit lacking, as the website isn't working properly, which might make it harder to check details beforehand
-
It feels very much like a local community spot, so if you're not from the area, it might take a bit to settle in
-
There's not much mention of food options, so it's probably best for drinks and vibes rather than a full meal

Been in a few times when I’m over with work with my book and to play some pool and do the quiz. Nice bar staff and relaxed clientele, very much a local community pub which seems to have a different event on every night.
One of the best bars I’ve been. Well worth a visit if you staying close. Grate prices very welcoming and a grate night out.
Great music club in a Saturday afternoon. Heard the awesome Chris Taplin band. Such a tight groove of blues and in all styles!
Awesome bar! Super friendly staff, great atmosphere. Stopped in with my family and got a very warm welcome. Would recommend to anyone, especially if you want some pool tips
Recently given a makeover and changed suppliers. Best pint of guinness I've had in a long time. Craic is great. Just what you want in a community bar. Friendly and eccentric staff guaranteed to make you smile. Recommended. Xxx
