About This Pub

Ah, The Cosy Bar in Belfast – what a gem it seems to be! From the reviews, it's clear this place has that special community spirit, where you walk in and instantly feel part of the gang. I love how the all-wood interior gives it such a unique, inviting look, and with drinks at sensible prices, it's ideal for a casual catch-up. The live music and friendly faces make for a lively yet relaxed vibe, and the food gets top marks – that Sunday roast sounds like a proper delight, with hearty portions that won't leave you wanting. On the downside, it's a shame there's no website to easily look up the latest info, and the opening times appear a bit muddled, which might catch you out if you're not local. Still, for a solid pint and some good craic, I'd say it's well worth popping in; it's got that balance of homely charm and excitement that makes for a memorable visit, as long as you're up for a bit of spontaneity.

  • As a community-focused spot, it could feel more geared towards regulars, though the reviews suggest newcomers are made to feel welcome

Been in a few times when over with work. It’s very much a community bar but the inside retains an all wood interior making it visually very unique. Very reasonably priced drinks, friendly locals and the live music was great. Read my book a few times with the football also, haven’t tried the food but assured it’s very good.
